Uploading Your Site with FrontPage

To upload or "publish" your website using Microsoft FrontPage:

1. In FrontPage, find the folder containing your website on your computer and open your site. Then click Publish, which will open the window shown below.
   
   

2. Click More Webs... and a new window will open.

3. You will be asked to specify the location to which you want to publish your FrontPage web. This will be http://www.valinet.com/~username, where you fill in your username after the "~". (as pictured below).
   
   

4. Click OK.

5. You will now be prompted to enter the FTP server name, which is valinet.com, and the Directory Path, which is /WWW.
   
   

6. Click Next.

7. Now enter your username and password, then click Finish.
   
   

8. Your website should be uploaded to the internet now. You can check to see if your pages are working by going to your web address (ex. "http://www.valinet.com/~username" or "http://www.mydomain.com") using Internet Explorer or another web browser of your choice.
